Very well done, Norder, especially against such excellent competition. What a boost! And nice one Paul for being so generous.
That's what I thought; thank you Paul, very generous of you. I really liked yours. I think their voting system is a bit iffy!
Before anyone got worried, I thought I'd better point out that the version of that painting I entered was in acrylics and NOT the pastel one that's in my gallery here. I had to do two versions since the owner of the dog was afraid that a pastel would get spoiled in the post to America; so I redid it in acrylic. The competition was for water based media.
Yahoo, my set of paints from Winsor and Newton arrived today; looks like a good selection of colours. Can't wait to try them.
I keep buying brushes and I have an impressive collection.My painting doesn't get much better and as I am using smaller boards 9by7 inches approx. I have just bought a lot of smaller brushes.I am a bit late in asking this but what sizes and types of brush would our experts recommend for such small panels?
