I've just been given some wonderful acrylic paints and can't wait for proper canvases to get started. I know that sometimes even my 'experiments' turn out so well that I want to sell them or at least frame them so .. . . Am I right in thinking it would be quite acceptable to use a gesso primer on cartridge paper - eg. A2 size - and get going on that? Once dried it could be mounted and framed if it's any good, I presume? *-) I don't want to be in a position of having half-baked work hanging around that's no good to anyone because it's too flimsy. (Been there, done that as a student 40 years ago!)
