I have recently been using acrylics more than watercolour, sometimes I use the boards and sometimes the canvases with the edges.
My question is, do you paint the picture around the edges or paint the edge a different colour to make a sort of frame.
I assume there is no actual 'Rule' as rules in painting can be broken, but in general, which is best?
