Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club 'En Plein Air' Painting Competition

Guernsey's En Plein Air Painting Competition hosted by Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club.

Open to all artists of any ability over the age of 16 to enter, the Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club's Plein Air Painting Competition takes place this year at Saumarez Park, Guernsey, on Tuesday 18th June with an exhibition of the entries following on 19th - 21st June at The Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden, Saumarez Park. Artists wishing to enter must bring their media (canvas, paper, board etc) to The Cart Room by the Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park between 9.30 - 10am on Tuesday 18th June to be stamped and an entry fee of £5 per stamped item (£3 for SA&C members) paid. Artists then have all day to paint from any location within the park grounds before returning their entry to The Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden between 4.30-5pm for judging. Although artists may have as many items of media as they like stamped only one final entry per artist may be submitted for judging. The winner will receive a cash prize of £250 and have their name inscribed on the Sarnia Arts& Crafts Plein Air Painting Trophy.
