Therefore she invites you to spend a day at a very special charity event. This is your chance to support one of the most important charities of this generation and enjoy painting in a stunning Spanish nature reserve. You will be amazed at yourself as you create your own work of art and so will others when you take it home. This painting charity event will continue over several months on specific dates at the artist’s Spanish country house and studio which nestles in an area of extreme natural beauty, surrounded with awe inspiring vineyards and olive groves. It is an ideal location for those seeking profound peace, tranquillity and inspiration. All proceeds, excluding expenses for food and materials, on these one day events will go directly to Ovarian Cancer Research for developing new treatments. Linda R Halbert (BA Hons), is an artist who has become a specialist in helping people discover and rediscover their creative ability. Over the years she has come to realise how painting can be very holistic. Having studied Art and Design at Carleton University in Wales, she gained a 1st Class Honours Degree and subsequently a City & Guilds Teaching Certificate at Bath University. Her work is held in private collections and exhibitions in both Europe and America and has been shown on Channel 4 television. It can also be found in art magazines where her step by step demonstrations on how to produce a finished painting are featured. She runs weekly art classes and has become an Artist in residence to Spanish students in the small town of Pinoso close to her house here in Spain.
