First Exhibition of Wood End Gallery

First Exhibition of Wood End Gallery

A gallery for artists and artisans to exhibit their artwork/crafts for sale. It is the first of many exhibitions running through 2015. The gallery has been set up on the basis that the individual walls (varying in size) are for hire by an artist or groups of artists for a one off cost, with no subsequent commission being taken. Therefore, there will be quite a diverse selection of art to view. As well as hired wall space for pictures, there is also some commission based wall space and the exhibition will include various craftwork - glassware, ceramics, textiles etc., for sale.

Wood End Gallery has recently been converted from a Grade II listed barn in to the purpose built space for art and crafts. The gallery is situated down a quiet lane in the picturesque countryside on the borders of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. It is conveniently located near historic village of Kimbolton, just off the busy B660 (postcode MK44 2AS), with off-road parking in a spacious courtyard. Open from 11am to 4.30pm Tuesdays to Sundays for this exhibition. The art displayed may vary from time to time throughout the exhibition as the artists are responsible for their own display of artwork, allowing them to change/swap pictures as often as they wish. All art/crafts will be for sale (unless otherwise indicated). Wood End Gallery is continually looking for artists and artisans to exhibit their work within the gallery.
