Beloved, paintings bringing suicide and addiction deaths into the light by Antonia Rolls
"Beloved" the exhibition is a response to the deaths of both my sons to suicide and addiction. Paintings and words looking always for consolation and light where we think there is none.
The Beloveds are those who have already died in darkness and despair. They work in the light, looking as they did while alive so as not to frighten the souls passing over down here. Their job is come and collect the lost soul and take it into the light, saying that all the pain is over, all the struggle is done, and they are safe and loved. They go to a celestial rehab with 100 percent success rate and in time, may choose to become Beloveds too and work in the light.
