Alexandra Ghimisi is a professional Fine Artist and an experienced Art Tutor based in Nottingham, evoking emotion through colour and texture. A graduate of the National University of Arts Bucharest, she won the 2024 Holbrooke Art Prize, exhibited at the Mall Galleries and London Art Biennale, and was selected as a 2026 Sky Landscape Artist of the Year - Wild Card.  

Alexandra is passionate about helping adults to Learn the Art of Painting. Her teaching blends professional techniques with a warm, encouraging approach that makes creativity accessible to everyone. As an Art Tutor Alexandra brings structure, inspiration, and enthusiasm to every session, creating a welcoming space where students can grow in confidence and discover the joy of painting by encouraging free experimentation.
