Biography
“I am inspired by the contrast in extreme light and shade, and attempt to convey emotion I feel during the painting process”. Trish Edwards: lives in the South West. Interest areas: portrait and life painting, sea and landscape. Since retiring the focus has been on sea and landscape, currently working on pieces that depict effects of climate change on environment and, ultimately society. “Living in Dawlish in 2014 when the sea wall and railway were breached, resulting in much devastation to locals and the trainline, brought home the impact that climate change is having globally, this obviously feeds into my work”.
