Tony Taylor

Biography

I have been working in the Finance Industry all my working life, but I waited for retirement in 1994 before taking up watercolour painting, attending the late James Fletcher-Watson, R.I., R.B.A courses at Dedham and Windrush for several years. Have run my own courses, visiting Cumbria, North Norfolk and Snowdonia for over ten years but now, having retired from structured courses, devote my time painting and one-to-one tuition in Guernsey where we have lived since 1973. In 2008 James founded The Pure Watercolour Society and I had the great honour to be elected to membership. I am determined to promote the great tradition of pure watercolour which my mentor and friend was so anxious to preserve.
