Biography

Born in Cambridge in 1943 and lived here ever since with Janet, my wife of 56 years, and still in the home we designed and built 45 years ago. I am recently retired from the Estate Agency business I started in 1984 and have been painting, mainly in acrylics, for some 20 years. For me, it is an absorbing hobby that I originally took up to provide relaxation and relief from a stressful business life. As opportunities arose for me to sell my work, I made a decision that I had no desire to benefit financially, the pleasure and satisfaction being more than enough, and I have always given the entire sale proceeds to Charitable causes, some local and others to help disadvantaged children in third world countries. I am fortunate to have seen the benefit of some of this at first hand
