Michelle Day
Biography
Born in Fulham, South London in 1952. On finishing school I attended Wimbledon School of Art and completed one year doing fine art before I left to take up employment. Over the years I have dabbled with art, painting on china and porcelain, designing bags and baking. I returned back to painting at the beginning of 2017 after a comment from my son "Am I ever going to get that painting you promised me many years ago?" Now I cannot stop putting oil onto canvas, it is as though I am trying to make up for the lost years when I was too busy having a good time! It feels good and hopefully I will develop my style.
