Biography

I didn't start to paint until I was well into my fifties but then had to stop through being busy at work etc and all those things that get in the way. I have now been painting more seriously for about five years. I started with water colour and have tried most other mediums. I now concentrate on oil and water colour and am still taking lessons. I joined Southend Art Club about five years ago and am now the chairman. My wife is the secretary and I am also the winter programme organiser, bring various demonstrating artists to our winter venue to show our members their skills.
