Essex Art Club has been in existence for over 112 years and consists of a wide range of membership from amateur, leisure, recreational and professional artists, painting and exhibiting a rich and diverse range of subjects. We aim to hold at least two exhibitions a year, one in Essex and one in London along with an extensive yearly list of activities which include, demonstrations by specialist artists, talks on art history, summer outings for sketching, a portrait group and workshops in selected disciplines.
