Burnham Art Club

Burnham Art Club members meet during the day on Tuesdays, from September to June. We are self motivated and free to pursue media and subjects of our own choice. This year the group enjoyed 2 professional demonstrations in watercolour and acrylic. In summer we are planning 2 group painting trips. The annual xhibition will be in the last week of August, from the 28th in 2009 at the Burnham and District museum during Burnham regatta Week. The art club have membership places available and welcome new members.

Finally gets a bit of time...finds your blog...heck October? I Was in Peru for most of that month & then unwell with the side effects of the anti-malarials...busy? me too...a week of 30 hour days might help...take care & keep in touch...perhaps?

Hi Phil Sorry, but am really busy trying to finish two paintings for the National open. I have quite a bit of work to do on them yet, and will have to get them framed prior to shipping. The works are a self portrait - 50 x 70cm (face), and a friend of mine dancing with a partner. She was a professional with her own school etc and the photo that I got to work from was absolutely fantastic! The SP is quite hard because of the size, but I am getting there. I will post details on my website. This site is not really appropriate for that. Take care... see ya later!
