BRIGHOUSE ART CIRCLE is always looking to welcome new members of any age or ability. It is an informal and friendly society with weekly meetings which include life models, costume models, demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions. There are also demonstrations combined with workshops in a variety of subjects. Recently there have been glass painting, silk painting, loosening up with watercolours, encaustic wax and lightening up eyes. Meetings are held every Thursday evening at 7.30pm, at Waring Green Community Centre, Brighouse, HD6 2AX. There is plenty of parking nearby, also a bus stop outside. In summer months there are also afternoon outdoor meetings. New members of all abilities are always welcome at any time of the year.
