Patchings A5 Christmas Exhibition

Create and share your art this Christmas in the Patchings A5 Christmas exhibition.

Patchings Art Centre is offering you an opportunity to paint or photograph for a selling exhibition in the Barn Gallery at Patchings.

There is no selection process - all work submitted will be exhibited. Artists and photographers are invited to take part in the Christmas exhibition by producing an A5 size piece of work on a specially provided board. The exhibition will open on Saturday 3 December 2016.

To make the process and the exhibition slightly unusual, Patchings Art Centre will provide the surface for your work. For the painter, there will be a range of A5 surfaces available for you to choose from, depending on your choice of media. Photographic entries will be mounted to an A5 board for display (please print your photograph slightly larger than the board size to allow for trimming). Alternatively they will print your photograph from a digital image.

All paintings and photographs will be exhibited, unframed, and visitors will be able to purchase off the wall during the exhibition which runs in the Barn Gallery at Patchings from December 3 to 24, 2016.

There is a small handling charge which includes the A5 surface for your work, postage if required, administration and hanging the exhibition. There will be no commisssion charged on your selling price. And, as it is Christmas time, all work received will be entered into a prize draw.

You can request up to six A5 boards per registration – 1 to 3 boards £6 each board – 4 to 6 boards £5 each board – please add £2 per board if you require your photographs to be printed.

Call Patchings Reception 9:30 – 5:30 on 0115 9653479 to register.
