Love the hare Christine, he's adorable :)

I think these have been wonderful Christine another real beauty

It's another beauty Christine, I do like the cropped bunny idea. Sorry, Hare...

Lovely agree he's adorable

Thank you Maria, Dennis, Alan and Ruthy for your comments. I don't know why it looks so big, it's actually only 6" x 4"!

Love the bunny, Christine. The tools must be very difficult for you, and quite painful to use. Is it the actual manipulation or the fact that the cutting tool is hard on your hand? I did wonder whether a thick glove might absorb some of the pressure? Just a thought.

Thank you Ruth for your concern. I think I'm my own worst enemy, I do a lot of knitting, crocheting, and embroidery as well as my art work and my hands are suffering! I was always told that these activities would help with preventing arthritis but I'm beginning to think it's an 'old wives tale'! It won't stop me though! It's the manipulating that's the problem so I don't think gloves would help but thank you for the suggestion.

You don't need to get any better its already great Christine well done

He's so lovely Christine and you can use the cuttings over and over again for cards. You can change the colour of the ink too, summer hare, winter hare etc. Lino cutting is very hard on hands but at least you have tried and got some great prints.

You've done a lovely job Christine.

That's not just a blue Hare Christine....it's a big blue Hare! And he's adorable, some one has already mentioned the cropped image being effective and it is. I'm half way through my second lino cut and I'm just glad to still have all my digits!lol It is hard going on the hands I agree.

A lovely hare Christine. Are you enjoying the Lino cutting? I enjoy the process but for me it never seems to turn out as well as I imagine it will! Then when I have printed a couple of times from the block I wonder what on earth to do with it afterwards!!

Thank you Dennis, Satu, Sarah, Fiona and Julie. Look forward to seeing your latest linocut Fiona, they are a bit addictive aren't they? Julie, I know exactly what you mean, such a lot of effort and I am not very impressed with my results. I have enjoyed doing them but I've almost used up the lino blocks
I had and don't think I'll be buying any more.
Well it was worth it Christine, very striking hare.

I love this, Christine! It's a super contrast - the solid blue of the hare with the textured background. As usual, your composition is spot on. I am looking forward to seeing the others as I catch up.
