Waiting
Waiting can be frustrating, exasperating, and sometimes it can even be quieting. Probably at different points in our life or even during the course of a day’s activities we experience many different feelings around having to wait. Sometimes waiting for a colleague to finished her part of a project before you can move on with yours, sometimes waiting for a family member to get ready for an outing and, on occasion, having to wait for roadside service. It can feel like being in a time-warp – you’re trying to be in the present but you’re also somewhere else. This painting tries to capture some of the ambiguity of waiting.
