Night Sail
A few years back I enjoyed crewing for a friend on his sailboat. We did mostly day sailing but every season we would also undertake a cruise extending over several days. On these longer excursions there would occasionally be an overnight passage to our next port of call. They were often absolutely beautiful – especially with a fair following wind, a night sky full of twinkling stars and the sound of the water washing alongside the hull. This image is a collage of those memories and was created with a nod to Henri Matisse.
