Thank you for your generous comments everyone. Whilst painting this I felt I needed something in the foreground & added the rocks & the coiled rope. What a total mistake this was. It couldn't look any worse if I'd painted a giant red lobster there. For me everything else in the picture has disappeared into oblivion. I guess you live & learn.
