The Swilken Bridge, the Old Course, St Andrews

Really good watercolour, Walter. As you say, a very well known scene. Almost a photographic image but better than that, you have given us your own personal perspective.

You have asked for C & Cs and if it were mine I would probably have increased the tone of the grass in the foreground for balance and depth but nothing more. A comment not a criticism on a most accomplished watercolour.

I agree perhaps a little more variation in the grass to give a little more depth, otherwise a very accomplished watercolour like the rest of your gallery. Very good

An impressive painting, all the detail so well observed. Personally I like the balance of the tones you have used.
