This is lovely - beautiful colours and a smashing reflection.

Don't think I've seen an acrylic by you before. I've always been a fan of your watercolours but this is beautiful.

Like this version too.

I love your colours and your portrayal of the water and its reflections. Really well done.

This one looks like dawn. I love this one too.

Beautifully painted, you,ve done yourself proud.

Dear Jeannette, Val, Lynda, Ruth, Carole and Bill - many thanks to you all for your very kind comments. Val - I haven't painted many acrylics since I got "kitted out" for acrylics last year - I think this is about the fifth one only in a welter of watercolours!

You've brought your mastery of watercolour to bear on this acrylic - the water in particular is beautifully done, and it's good to see a deer in a painting which looks as if it's alive, and not a stuffed specimen (which is more a comment on my own efforts at depicting wildlife than a swipe at anyone else). Now you've got the full acrylic kit, I hope to see many more!

A really nice painting. I think I like it better than the first one. Love your portfolio Walter. jean

Hi Jean and Robert - many thanks for your very kind comments - I am beginning to enjoy acrylics.
