Another lovely piece, Walter. I always admire your composition, which is always much harder for landscapes in a square format. This is very well done, with the assymetry creating the requisite tension.

Seok said it much better than I can, I think this is again a lovely addition to your wonderful gallery.

I agree with Seok and Mia, very lovely

I tend on the whole to paint fairly small, but 10cm square ..... I don't think I can see that small! I'd like this painting on a really big scale - think of Bernard Buffet. Lost in admiration for your skill, because we surely all know that the smaller paintings are the most difficult to do.

Hi Seok, Mia, Petra and Robert -many thanks for your very kind comments - funnily enough I find it easier to paint this size - I have a selection of relatively small, chisel-shaped brushes that I buy in the local hardware store - they cost about £1 each. The canvases cost less than £1 each and little mini display easels cost just over £1. I hope to sell a few at a little exhibition next month -fifty percent of any artist's proceeds will go to the Smile Train charity.

This is done on a mini-canvas (10x10cm) using W&N artists acrylics and black acrylic ink. All C&Cs very welcome.
