Like the colour and design.

Smashing and those delft tiles behind are a great background. super, like it a lot

Well they certainly look good enough to eat.

Great complimentary colours, beautiful tiles.

The pomegranates look so good and the light on the skin is beautifully done. Using the tiles as the background is a great idea they look so good , certainly worth lugging them back Justin .

These are fabulous Justin and look so right against the tiles.

Thank you all for the comments I appreciate you taking the time to post them. I paint fruit because at the moment it’s not really pc to paint nudes unless maybe you are of the same gender ... but let’s not open that can of worms. Each to his/her/their own, and please don’t stop using any method that works for you and gives you pleasure in what you do. The biggest problems I face are the legitimacy of trusting people who say “you should or should not”, apathy intolerance and ignorance ... oh and a run on toilet rolls

Gorgeous pomegranates, supertitles, reminiscent of my trip to Istanbul.

Love the pomegranates, shining with life and the Arabic? Script on the background tiles. Lovely work Just .

Sorry should have been ‘Justin’. Read your comments and realise the script was Turkish. Very beautiful.

Beautifully painted. The contrast of the solid shapes of the pomegranates against the patterned backdrop is especially effective.

The name pomegranate derives from medieval Latin pōmum "apple" and grānātum "seeded". ... The French term for pomegranate, grenade, has given its name to the military grenade. Drawn from photographs of real pomegranates against a backdrop of handmade Islamic tile I carried back from Istanbul many years ago while backpacking. I’d much rather paint than use the forum
