Super drawing and well coloured.

Lovely loose line work.

Splendid.

Very striking work Martin

Love your knurled branches. They have s9 much character Martin.

Very good Martin and I like the addition of that little bird and flash of colour

Love this technique

A great gnarled stump Martin. Very well done.

Two graduated washes meeting and сreating a sense of space and perspective. Strikingly beautiful approach.

Very striking . Super tree stump.

A super character sketch Martin, and I love the addition of the robin, just gives it that little extra.

Beautifully drawn and "washed." I like the contrast: old, gnarled, stumpy tree with young-in-comparison bird on branch. The cycle of life. Lovely graded background.

Thanks very much for your kind observations Tessa and Lynne

I’m missing quite a lot in the gallery at the moment, I hope I haven’t missed too many of yours Martin! Love the simple contrasts here, makes a striking image.

Thanks Fiona. Missed you too and hope you’re well

I like your pen sketching Martin and lovely washes, great picture.

Thanks Brian. Appreciate your comment

This interesting stump is just in the hedgerow on the road up to the Hall. I like the way it’s been left to nature. Sketched in pen and ink on site and added watercolour and robin in studio. On Canson Moulin de Roy cp watercolour paper A5
