Out in the open, if it rains, we'll get wet because there are no trees to shelter under. recalled from many years ago and aided by one of my photos with a little licence. A wide vista. The smooth appearance of the ground belies boggy and rocky terrain, difficult walking. On one occasion, in the company of others, I walked from the ridge in the centre to the peak on the right and on another occasion, to the summit on the left. I was a lot younger then.
