Wow Tessa, I do so admire your bravery using one large brush. A great result.

Thank you Carole- that was quick! I think maybe I went a bit mad on this one but it has given me more ideas.

Love the way you have done this Tessa 🙂

Brilliant - some great textures and so many colours but they all work together really nicely.

Super painting of this scene Tessa, it looks great and the colours blend so well, lots of variants and style with brush-strokes too!

Lovely Tessa. I like how you make us look through the hedgerow at the buildings beyond.

Great textures Tessa.

Love the freedom of your brushstrokes Tessa and the use of one brush has certainly worked here.

Is this one of Steve’s challenges Tessa?

Thank you all for taking the time to look and encourage!

Marjorie- no not intentionally. I must admit I’d more or less forgotten about that! Seems to have died a death doesn’t it? But it might fit one?

I just rechecked the Steve Strode challenge and I guess it does fit No 4 which is to put aside the small brushes and use one bigger one. Maybe I’ll add it on the forum.

Love the boldness of this Tessa. Great work.

I wondered about doing this challenge…a good one from you. Time is a bit short at the moment.

Many thanks Jim, coral and Marjorie. I’m always delighted to receive positive comments. x

Lovely and expressive

Thank you Heather. 😊

That works so well, Tessa!

Thanks David. It was quite fun to do!

Really effective piece Tessa.

Great! Love the framed composition!

Many thanks Andy and Thalia. It was the ‘peep through’ that attracted me to this scene.

Good bold work here Tessa.

Love this Tessa - it’s superbly painted

Thanks very much Stephen and Rachel. x

Great mark making!

Thank you Romila. 👍

A4 acrylic on paper. Idea from a photo of mine taken looking through trees at some farm buildings. Painted with one large brush.
