A very difficult scene to paint Paul but you have accomplished it very well. I love the houses nestled into the hillside . A very serene scene.

Lovely! I spent a week just outside Montepulciano, going into the town daily to buy food. Gorgeous.

Montepulciano, a hillside village in Tuscany. Paper is Daler Rowney Aquafine, 300gsm cold pressed. Size A4. Watercolour paints are Winsor & Newton Cotman range. Source image is from Pixabay.com. I had this picture on my computer for quite a while and thought it was too difficult to tackle. I was inspired to try it after watching a video by Liron Yanconsky on Youtube of exactly the same scene.
