A Monk is who leaves mainstream society, to live his life in prayer and contemplation. This lifestyle takes a great deal of a serious commitment. All monks conform to a common way of living based on the traditions of that particular monastery. I love the picture of monks who engaged in chatting in the backdrop of "Darjeeling monastery in India". Subject was enchanting to paint. Pastel work in rust base colour paper.
