Yes, it's a bit of quick fun, but, like Louise, I prefer the real thing. When I first got my I pad I was very enthusiastic about the digital art apps. They can be useful, but I now only seem to use them to "change" something digitally before I change it in reality. Having said that, I do love Hockney's digital work.

That's interesting Kirstie I hadn't thought about it like that...you are right it's still recognisable as one of mine. Marjorie I did sort of cartoony stuff with Brushes as well as these I seem to have lost all of them since I updated my iPad. These two I had saved . I suppose that's another downside ( well for me ) of digital art...it vanishes if you are not too clued up. At least with what I call real art it can be kept or sold as a one off original.

Clwydian range ? Never tried digital art,but it looks like fun,and it looks good.

It looks great Sylvia, only ever tried this type of painting once and it was terrible!

I like the striations of colour Sylvia, the recession is good and all so smoothly done.
