".brushes" , I found, is quite hard to use Sylvia. I rarely use it now. Try the freebie "pastels", it's much more user friendly. Mind you, I also have a stylus but you can use your finger more easily if you enlarge the image ( by swiping). This is attractive tho' and balanced compositionally ( blimey, that sounds a bit superior, ha ha, not meant to).

I prefer real paint and paper as well Sylvia :)

Marjorie I know what you mean I laughed . But thanks for looking and making comment. I acquired this because of David Hockneys work. I quite enjoyed the excersise it was fun. Will look for the app you recommend for more fun. Yes Louise the "real " thing can't be bettered well in my opinion anyhow.

Well at least it's not photo manipulation, you used your fingers :)

Sylvia, if you want to find the app I mentioned, google " free ipastels art app". Can't seem to find it in the App Store but I think you'll be able to download it directly the first way.

Sorry Sylvia..spelling error :)

I can be a tad pedantic Louise.😇

I like the colours used Sylvia but this sort of painting doesn't 'do' it for me. Quite pleasing to the eye though.

it is very eye-catching, your choice of colours beautiful. I got the pastel app but soon got bored :(
