Splendid Sylvia I love these two cards and the glitter adds a lovely festive touch. they'll look great on someone's mantelpiece! I have had my Christmas collage card printed this year but, like you, over the years I have painted individual cards, printed my own etc. Friends and family tell me they look forward to receiving them my each year as I'm sure yours do - no pressure!

It is a satifying thing to do Sylvia, I only do a percentage of the cards I send out...special ones.....but I enjoy thinking about and designing each one, whether it's hand painted or if I print them myself. I'm concentrating on lino prints for this years! It's going to be messy...lol
These two are full of life and will brighten up any mantelpiece.

You have spurred me on to make mine this year Sylvia! This one is brilliant! I can see snow in a forest here. Lovely job :)

These are both great Sylvia. You and my grand daughter would get on very well with all that glitter. Me, I just sweep up after.

Originals. Who cannot be pleased with original art, especially when it is as good as this.

Thank you so much everyone . The bonus is also the cost, or lack of it.

This is so bright and cheerful, love it especially bewitch the glitter. You have taken Christmas to a new level Sylvia. I would be delighted to get one like this I would frame it! I also paint cards for family and close friends.

A gorgeous explosion of colours Sylvia!

Thanks once more. I do think making cards is a lovely thing to do my sweet sister in law has every one I have ever sent to her . Though as someone commented it does become an expectation by a lot of people. The pressure starts late summer sometimes. Though these ones have been both easy and fun to do .
P O L have just put up a survey re Christmas cards ...for almost fifty years I have made or had printed all the cards I have sent out ( apart from one year) anything between 50 and 100 . I am just stuffing this years efforts into envelopes. This year I have gone for a very easy option as I had a lot of left over materials so they have cost me nothing . I have just splodge inks onto the back of old paintings, cut them to fit white blanks , left a border , stuck them on and added glitter, I LOVE glitter . Hey presto free cards . Just the effort to do them. Over the years I have printed my own , I have drawn each one individually and it really is satisfying. .
