The roses stand out very well against the black and I like the way you have roses differently positioned. A lively vibrancy Sylvia.

Thank you Carole and Tessa. It’s not black Carole I hate black in paintings . Though it does look black on the photo. It’s a mix of purples and blues and is several coats .

Acrylic on Gaerstacker board . It’s piddled down ALL day so I didn’t have to weed the garden. I had time whoooheee to pick up my brushes. I see these in the fields when I walk my dog each day. I decided they needed to be painted.
