Like yourself Sylvia I try and use my sketch book instead of a camera for projects to work up into 'proper' paintings but I invariably find that I prefer the sketch. It's honest and free and full of life.

This is a small sketch I did in April , a group of us had gone to a local farm to paint Ewes and lambs in the barn. The weather was foul. But after lunch I sat outside and did this quick sketch across to the Clwydian Range. (the weather had improved)
