Cows taking a break

Nice attempt and don't give up Stephen. They are lovely to draw and paint, that's if I did cows.

Indeed, don't stop now ... I like the way they're part of this scene, and the field and cottage aren't just incidental backdrops to the cows; it makes the picture much more believable.

Your washes here are lovely Stephen. The photo is a little dark towards the right so we don't get the best look at the cattle, but they do add interest to the scene.
