Many thanks Heather and David. I think the rather ‘rough and ready’ approach is compensated for by the ‘on the spot’ vitality. I do think I learn more by the experience.

As it was a lovely sunny day I would try a little pen and Inktense pencil sketch in the local park, earlier today. I always find this more enjoyable than painting from a photo.
