Many thanks Dympna. I think it’s probably due to using the black pencil mostly. I did a similar sketch later, using a dark brown, which has warmer feel. Might post that one in a day or two.

A quick ‘doodle’ with Inktense pencils. Initially just using the black, then added a little colour. Reminds me of Roland Hilder’s style ( although not as accomplished of course).
