This little urban cameo is a scene all too frequent in our towns and cities, an old man in worn out clothing taking shelter in a doorway. Closer observation perhaps offers a different interpretation. He has no plastic bags stuffed with his belongings instead he has a cloth rucksack filled with solid objects perhaps tools. His large hands have clearly seen years of hard work no begging empty coffee cup at his feet or scribbled sign describing his circumstances. The only comfort he seeks is a quiet spot to rest in the warmth of the morning sun.
