A beautiful rendering of the buildings, Mark. I especially like the way you've captured the reflected light on the street - well done!

I love this... I imagine this street scene could have been painted 100 years ago and still looked like this... I've never been to Durham, but this painting makes me want to go there!

Full of movement. Excellent swing of steps. Colours great. Like it!

Good lively work Mark, I went to Durham a few months ago and found it to be a lovely place, you have caught the atmosphere very well.

Love the vibrant colours Mark and the composition is superb.

I walked up that hill when I was in Durham studying.

Very eye catching and cheerful painting with lovely use of warm colours against cool. Great work.

Nice painting of Saddler Street- well done. This is the view I keep meaning to drawn but never got round to do it. My Friend George Levitt has also painted this view on http://fineartamerica.com/featured/saddler-street-durham-george-levitt.html

I sketched this just before Christmas wish I could interpret it like you. Lovely picture.

I think this street is one of the most interesting in Durham, the stairs at the junction with the street leading to Elvet bridge are a natural meeting place in summer and catch the light perfectly from the shop windows at dusk.
