very effective :-) i may sound thick when i ask this question, but please could you explain to me what you mean by 'which is the most Stressful' do you mean stressful as in most annoying, or stressful as in pressure on the paper perhaps? thanks you in advance :-) you have a talent for Flowers :-)

Definitely stressful in the annoying sense. There is always an element of the unpredictable about painting, especially wet in wet water colours for me. Also in this particular painting, I wish that I had not painted the more distant flower on the far left. I spent ages trying to fade it to make it more distant, but failed. I wish that I had left it out as it adds nothing to the picture and only distracts.

A lovely piece - superbly painted and composed. Orchids are not the easiest thing to arrange and paint, and you've done it beautifully. Thank you very much also for taking the time to comment on my work.

Bockingford paper, Winsor & Newton Paint, Pilot Drawing pens .05 and .01. In this series of flower paintings, I am trying out different media and supports. Seeing which is the most stressful and most effective.
