Plein air, oil on 10x8 inch canvas panel. I refined this a little more after I took this photo, lightened the sky, suggested the hedge in the background, reduced the tree size slightly and 'randomised' the branches a bit better, then forgot to take a final image! I allow myself up to two hours and try and get it all down in that time, occasionally I may add a glaze in the studio when its dry but most of the time they stay as they were finished.
