Thank you very much for all your comments. I am very fond of this painting- especially the brightness of the pinks and reds. For years I was very nervous about using colour in my work and now I love it.

I have never tried oils but this is beautiful it could almost be abstract

Oil on Canvas 80cm x 80cm The second in my series of trees throughout the seasons. I'm not qutie sure if this one is finished so I'm going to leave it for a few days. Looking forward to painting some springtime trees.
