I like using gold leaf also - and enjoy seeing your use of it here with it's conotation and links to the fairground! :-) An interesting play between the abstract and figurative also in the surface dimensions, images and textures.

Thank you for your comment. This series is the first time I have used gold leaf and I find it really brings the painting to life and creates movement, especially when the light reflects on it which is what I am trying to achieve.
