Olive Grove Skiathos

I'm sure it isn't, Shaun - what am I saying, I KNOW it isn't - but you've done a good job here; would warmer shadows have helped, ie a bit more red in the blues, or is the actual colour contrast as stark as this in reality? Never having consorted with the olive groves, I don't know. Even so, I like your painting.

I think you're right Robert. Thanks for the advice. I need to experiment more with mixing colours on my palette and lowering the tones so that it doesn't come across too stark (one of the hazards of working from photographs).
