An unusual composition itch the focal point near the right hand edge but it is a well painted scene, the perspective is well observed and draws the viewer along the railings to the lighthouse.

As Stephen says, an interesting perspective but well handled resulting in an unusual and engaging composition.

Excellent painting Stephen. Being a lover of figure work I really like to have seen a man in a rowboat by the wall talking with someone leaning on the railings..... but that's just a personal trait. Well done.
