Gorges de la Fou, Pyrenees.

I forgot to tell you that one of my paintings, Forgotten Plays, has been accepted for the Royal Society of British Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries starting the 21 of March. I’m absolutely thrilled, my dream has come through.

Mall Galleries is a brilliant and well deserved achievement. You posted it last year and at the time I thought Forgotten Plays was excellent and compelling. This one is equally compelling and a good overwrite so to speak! Just great.

It is indeed about those forgotten dolls which are staring at you in the vitrine in a toy museum. I found them fascinating and a bit scary and thoroughly enjoyed making a painting of them.
