It's what I'd call a smart painting Satu ! Good colour as well!

Very nice, I like your abstract paintings

Another one I just instantly love, Satu. And there is so much to look at in it that I will spend a long time doing so. I would have been interested to hear what the critics on the 'Show me the Monet' (BBC2 5.15) thought of it.

PS How do you get your acrylic so smooth? (please ignore if it is inappropriate for me to ask this)

Love the colours Satu. Am justing starting with acrylics and abstract, so am very interested in what others are doing.

Lovely Satu! Is it really abstract....... I can see all the features of a face?! You've got such a good imagination. Regards Avie.

Thank you all for your kind comments, I thought that I would not get any for this one. Sian, to get the paint smooth, I use it quite thickly and well mixed. In these kind of paintings I use masking tape to get straight lines and to make shapes, then it's easy to fill the spaces. You have to repeat it several times and place and replace the masking tape until everything is well covered. I hope that you can make sense of what I'm trying to say .Best regards, Satu.

Well done Satu it surely has the look and style of Kadinsky, the subtle colours contrasting with the strong black , red and a wonderfull blue. great !.

Thank you William very much for your comment!

This is another very intriguing piece, Satu. I'm not one for abstracts, but yours always hold the viewer's attention. I really like the placement of the shapes and the contrast of the colors.
