Thank you Sylvia! Yes, Montmartre has got something special. I'm just now reading a book where the story runs at Montmartre and it feels great. I used to live in Paris so I know the place quite well.

Hi Satu, I commented on this before you deleted it!!! It's night but could have been Montmartre in the snow, with all the snow we've had these last months. I like it very much. I've lived in Paris and its region since I arrived here in France back in '69! We've always spent a lot of time in the Roussillon and Drome staying with family and at the moment I'm hooked on old, stone towns and in particular a tiny village called Le Pegue (near Valreas).
