Hi Stuart, It varies. From life , my drawings tend to be sketchier.... as in Forty Winks in my portrait sketches section.... The Blue Scarf was from an image, although my images are usually obtained with models permission , during class, so the advantage here is that I have got to know the model and their personality , which I hope then will translate into the final work . I do prefer to work from life though .. so both Stuart...sorry for rambling on.......
